I'm half asleep this morning, pottering about before going into town to get some court shoes for my new job. Apparently it's rather seriously corporate and so I must somehow put together a business suit. This strikes me as mildly silly, but for £10 an hour, there's a lot I'll do.

I'm also pondering role playing games, from Zeitgeist Sabbat in which I am realising that I really do have some rather John McEnroe stylee role playing tendancies (jez tells me that the whereabouts of a tennis ball will, however, have no bearing on whether or not I manage to actually accomplish the goals he set me with the NPC I've been told to run. I still yelled 'it was on the line' a couple of times more before going to bed) to Play-Yourself where I am feeling rather bemused as to why everything has gone KABOOM again.

*yawns*

For some reason I am really rather dazed today.

Oh, I've also been bouncing e mails with various people re: Zeitgeist Garou which seems to be getting a fairly good response. This makes me happy. I am remembering how much fun setting up a game from scratch can be, and am in a hopeful place. It also looks like ksirafai may be playing as well, thus proving that we live in an Age of Miracles.

And now, onward! An exciting world of dull black high heeled shoes awaits.

...That, and the idea of three people sitting down and doing all the work for me strikes me as entertaining and a bit wasteful of me _not_ to look at what y'all have done... :P Besides, Fen's a fun bit of fluff.

Any character sheet I can look at and say 'Dodge? What are you talking about? Dodging means I can't get to the fight as fast - besides, I'm indestructible...' has to be entertaining, if ony briefly. :P

Jez said 'Nasi were antagonistic to the Groo venue. I looked slightly blank and said '...well, yes... and?' and he looked almost thoughtful for a second, before raising an eyebrow patronisingly and explaining that no means no for everyone, even if I promised to eat all their babies and be plotty and give them things to do.

I thought this was unreasonable.

...Besides, I rarely play Tenere by choice; Kumoti and Hatar are more entertaining. Mm, Viskr... :)

Aww, how mean! I think he is just picking on you. And my bad, I guess my 'nasi geekdom is insufficient... I thought it was a breed gift :P

Maybe they will let you NPC them? Or plan out their downtime actions involving the eating of babies or something?

Yeah, but mostly I ignored the GW Philo as someone who a) should know about Groo and b) would be quite dull. When everyone else is arguing passionately and you're able to stand there, look bored and Resist Pain, it gets a tad monotonous. ;P

...And, on that, if there's anything else in the not-restricted-or-very-restricted-or-banned list you think I'd play interestingly/well/entertainingly, throw them together, too. Likewise anyone else who feels like nabbing XP; whichever sheet/background I choose to play with will grant the donor of said sheet/background 10xp - and, ifit's really good and they've lost more xp on it than that, 10xp to other people of their choice. :)
