The Criterion theatre is currently showing Amajuba: Like Doves We Rise which is billed as 'a celebration of the survival of the spirit against the exceptionally harsh environment of South African as a place to have grown up in. It is a tribute to the tenacity of the soul's refusal to lose hope.'
I don't want inspirational South Africans, damnit! I want Americans doing Hamlet six times and one of them being backwards.
