The Criterion theatre is currently showing Amajuba: Like Doves We Rise which is billed as 'a celebration of the survival of the spirit against the exceptionally harsh environment of South African as a place to have grown up in. It is a tribute to the tenacity of the soul's refusal to lose hope.'

Wow! I don't remember seeing any indication of that when I went a month or two back. I suspect they're off touring somewhere or something...

On the other hand Amajuba would probably only be fun if there is a dance recreation of Sandra Bullock and some machetes - 'cos that would inspire me.
