Apparently phoning [profile] pierot to discuss whether or not bell and book are necessary for an exorcism if you already have the candle, plus enough accelerant is a sign of cabin fever on my part.

He might be right.

It's odd. I'm in this place at the moment where my brain is working. I'm alive. I'm here. OK, I get giddy spells at times and get so sleepy and so tired very easily, but essentially I feel like Sally. I feel like me.

On the other hand my body is blatantly not entirely up to speed yet. I do get drowsy and tired very easily, while finding it hard to sleep because of the aches and pains. I do get giddy spells, and found leaving the house to wander around Surrey Quays with [profile] wildrogue yesterday really exhausting. I found myself getting scared in the supermarket because I'm so sore and tender - I know that getting jostled would be bad.

So, I'm probably not really fit enough to get back to living, or get back to normality. It does make sense that I stay in the house, get lots of rest, get looked after a bit. But my brain, which is feeling fine, is slowly going crazy!

I want out!

Last night, at about 10 pm, I found myself feeling horrendously claustrophobic. It wasn't the people around me. They were all great. It wasn't the game we were playing. It wasn't anything other than a really overwhelming need to get some fresh air and get away from everything. I want to drive places, go somewhere, take off when I feel like a little space. Physically, I don't think I really can, just yet, but goddamnit I want to!

*vibrates quietly*

Convalescence is definitely frustrating.

See if you can get hold of one of those mobility scooters and ride around terrorising the local pedestrians.

Ooooh dude, maybe it's time for some Live-Action Mario Kart.

Foam shells? Trafford Centre?

Not quite as silly as Live Action Mornington Crescent, but easier to get away with...

*sigh*

*froths and wriggles and sends out gouts of green froth from her mouth*

No. No need for the bed chaining at all. Honest...

You should watch the movie "Misery" and imagine Ginnie as Kathy Bates.

Only bad people do not visit you and cheer you up (and help with the exorcisms).
