I have a new car!

Meet Gertrude



One 10 month old Skoda Fabia.

She's not that pretty, she's not that fancy, but I think she means well and she'll do her best.

And I've got a car again!

My friend has an 02 Fabia, and it seems like a pretty good car. Solid, because its made by the same people who make VWs.

But did you have to call it Gertrude? :S

Yes! I did! It's a slightly stolid, ugly, yet well meaning name for a car which I feel has all of those traits.

This isn't nearly as pretty a car as my gorgeous Pridwen, but I shall learn to be fond of her.
