BPAL Bonfire Night
Oct. 18th, 2007 09:15 amThe site says: Beer, woodsmoke, tar, and treacle.
On the wrist: Scrummy loveliness! This is a lovely thick dark scent. I can definitely catch the woodsmoke and the treacle, and there's a slightly hint of apples to my nose as well, although it's not mentioned. It smells of autumn - of early nights and warm fires. I feel warm just wearing it.
Final verdict: 9/10. This is lovely. It's really really nice, and I need to see if I can afford a full bottle of this before the update goes down. It's a great autumn scent, and I would never have taken the risk on it if there hadn't been a decant circle going round.
In other random news, it turns out that right now it takes about 10 hours sleep for me to feel perky and bouncy in the morning. I went to bed at 11 pm last night, and woke up feeling quite cheery at 9 am, instead of the normal shattered remnants of a human being I tend to be. I blame it all on the increased hours of darkness. Thank god I don't live in Alaska. I'd have to hibernate through the winter.
