An actual life update...
Mar. 1st, 2007 09:41 am- University is going relatively well. My museology presentation went very well, and I even got an email from one of the women on my course congratulating me for it. She apparently found it very interesting.
- I currently have a
headinclouds and a
red_phil visiting which is fantastic. Today we are going to poke London museums, and tomorrow a plasticine
span1el may appear. - I am currently trying to learn to ice skate. The first class was last night, and went a bit wrong - due to assorted transport woes, and my own stupidity, it took me 2 hours to get across London last night, thus missing most of the first class. The teacher was very nice about it and told me to come back next week, and said it would not be a problem. I did feel a little bit wibbly, watching people spinning around on the cool white ice, and wanting to be there, and not being able to do, but at least I've got another four weeks of my current course.
- My recent drive to become more reliable has met with limited success - I've managed to miss one day of college due to crappy brain space, and I'm still feeling horribly overbooked. Somewhat scarily, I'm now booked up for every single weekend in March with assorted commitments. I'm hoping I make at least 80% of them!
- I've become mildly hooked on twitter which seems to appeal to me on some kind of particularly sad level. So...anyone who really needs to know my most immediate thoughts - they are currently going there...
- I finally offer a sort of happy birthday to
wildrogue. It's only a 'sort of' as it isn't a leap year, but I believe today is close enough, and I hope her birthday outing last night (which I only made a bit of, and didn't get to spend much time with Elle at) went well.
