Good Points

  • [profile] ksirafai and I successfully made it to Salisbury to see 'My Mother Said', meeting up with [profile] wildrogue without disaster.

  • I had a good night's sleep last night at Ginnie's parents' house, and woke up this morning to a selection of old children's book, which were wonderful.

  • I will soon be cooked a very good Sunday lunch by Ginnie's Mum, who is a goddess among women.

Bad Points

  • I've so far only had half a bed and no mattress delivered to the house. It is a bit of a conundrum where [profile] pierot and I are going to sleep.

  • I had to leave jez in London last night while Ginnie and I went down to the theatre, waiting for delivery of a mattress which never came.

  • We still have one cat collection to do. That means there is a whole new area in which things can go wrong

*fingers crossed*

Please let me count as having worked through my disaster quotent for this weekend!

Call mattress people.

Shout at them.

Make them cry.

Hear the lamentations of their women.

Kill them, their families, their neighbours and the girls they took to the prom.

Make them refund you all delivery costs.

Kill them again.

Totally. Is this the 4th time they have failed to deliver?

Sends good energy to Sally that nothing goes wrong picking up the kitties.

Now you see it's exactly comments like that that cause things like what happened.
It seems to have been a bad weekend for travel. Mike and Abi are still here having smashed their rear windscreen. RAC were unable to fix it. I think they're going to try driving without.

...Yeek. O.o

Thanks for the lift, by the way. Was much apprecited, and I made the train. By running in one shoe and beating the door the guard was locking and staring at him pathetically. ;P

The rest of my journey was nowhere near as much fun - but you have food in your boot. Please take it out and eat it, or it'll all go Horribly Wrong. :)

There is no food in my boot. There is food in my freezer ready to be delivered on Wednesday. See how organised I am.
