Houses and boyfriends and VERY SORE NECKS
Oct. 17th, 2005 10:15 amGood morning all.
Today I am in a chirpy mood. Not as chirpy as
pierot who is wandering around saying 'chirp', but pretty damn chirpy, nonetheless.
The reason?
I may have found A House. Not just any House, but a House With A Conservatory And Garden. The advertisment is here. I've just spoken to the estate agents and arranged a viewing for 6.30 pm on Wednesday, and am waiting to see if they can fit me (+ any housemates who wish to come along) in tonight. It's an unfurnished place, which is good as jez and I between us own four beds, and a lot of other bits and pieces, plus we're hoping to buy a house together next year if finances go well. And because it is an unfurnished place, the estate agents are willing to hold it for us into November (when in November would need negotiation) which allows us a bit of overlap with the current place to shift furniture and the like, but wouldn't financially cripple us.
I'm feeling quite hopeful.
In other news, I seem to have gotten a new boyfriend this morning. OK, not entirely a new boyfriend. Mostly the same one as usual, but damnit, he looks different. Jez has rediscovered his inner elf, and shaved.

It's very odd.
Oh, and in final news, my neck is knackered. I don't know why, but it's really agonisingly sore. Must get lotions and stuff today. *rubs at neck* What on earth have I done to it?

Inner Elf
Date: 2005-10-17 09:31 am (UTC)I think he should start combing his eyebrows upwards. Or possibly shave them.
Whatever you do, don't tell him that the picture looks like some kind of gay mugshot.

Date: 2005-10-17 12:24 pm (UTC)I thought he'd grown out of that. Don't you go giving Scott ideas now. I like my hobbit just the way he is (ie not looking like a 12 year old, people start asking questions).
Nice house though. I approve. Can you keep cats in it though?
