Post-doctors...
Apr. 8th, 2005 04:14 pmWell...there's good news and there's bad news. And there's more bad news.
The bad news is that it turns out I do have a post-operative infection.
The good news is that I have now seen a doctor (thank you to my stepmother and
pierot for making me go, and have been bandaged up and given assorted pills.
The more bad news is that the pills are likely to leave me with diarrhoea and nausea, and I have to go back to the doctors every other day for the next week to get my bandages changed etc. I'm not moving very far, it seems. If I get a fever of any kind I'm straight back into hospital and I am still waiting on tests to come back on exactly what kind of infection I've got.
So. I'm not too well. Not as poorly as I could be, but if I'm a bit fragile over the next couple of days, that'll be why.
