On jobs interviews and other forms of employment

Well, the interview this morning went well. The nice lady who interviewed me has someone else to see this afternoon and then they'll call me back to let me know.

In other good news, I've also been put forward for another two permanent part time jobs by Huntress. Bless them. I'm beginning to wonder if the second temp job was some kind of test - since doing that the floodgates have opened! We shall see how it goes.

It all seems to be coming together.

I just heard back from the agency again - Cancer Research UK loved me, and thought I was great. They have to interview this other girl tomorrow morning now, as she called in sick today, but could I provisionally start Thursday? They'll have to call me back to confirm, in case she turns out to be stunning, but so far I've had solidly good feedback. I'm definitely hopeful.

Excellent, play them all off against each other for even more money. It does indeed sound like it is all coming together. And part time should leave you plenty of time for your final project.

A lot of agencys want to know what you are like before putting you forward for a job, mainly because they look stupid if they put muppets forward for jobs and companies never go back to them again. Temp jobs are a good screening process for this.
