Whereabouts of Sally

annwfynLife is odd.
I appear to be drifting somewhat, from place to place. London, Reading, Lambourn, Oxford...who knows where I'm meant to be. I'm currently in Reading, having declined to drive to London in gale force winds yesterday. Instead I went out to Lambourn withwildrogue and walked up to Uffington Castle. The wind was so strong you could lean into it without falling over. Walking downhill with the wind behind you felt like you were one slip away from flying.
The walk was wonderful. The drive back to Reading along the M4 was a bitch and a half. I don't like it when lorries start drifting towards my lane.
Today I'll be in London, and then tomorrow it'spierot's birthday. Next week I think I'm in Oxford most of the time, and then who knows? The plan is for me to spend the next term in Oxford during the week and London at weekends, and then come up to London after my operation for my convalescence, but recently life has been throwing me rather a lot of curve balls.
