Surrey Quays at midnight

pierot and I went for a walk at midnight in the snow. We went down to the docks, where the water had frozen over.





Jez took this photo, of the snow whirling around a lampost. It came out as this weird twisting spiral of colour.



We saw an aggrieved and solitary duck walking across the ice, looking for the water.



The houses were getting covered by the snow too.



And I looked a little like a black fur lollipop, wrapped up in my rabbit skin coat.

Big bundle of fur on skinny and legging clad legs. That is what I meant, Cram, so I don't want any of those funny looks from you!

Really well. I really miss that house sometimes, actually. It was a lovely neighbourhood.
