So...this is it!

Today is the day.

At 21.20 this evening my flight leaves for Shanghai. We arrive in Shanghai at 15.45 local time, and then have a bit over a day there, leaving at 18.20 the next day. We arrive into Melbourne at 7 am local time on Friday morning. We're then gone until July 19th, when we return in a blaze of glory, or possibly just with assorted bad hats.

We should have some e mail access while we are out there, and I'm sure I'm going to be updating LJ, probably more regularly than I should be.

So. I'll see you all soon. Have fun, be well, and wish me luck. I'm off adventuring!
