A poetry reading...

On Thursday, The Fan Museum in Greenwich, where I work, is holding a poetry reading from 6.30 pm until 8.30 pm. The cost is £10, and that gives you entrance to the museum, a glass of wine, a talk on our current exhibition (which is very pretty) and you get to sit in our gorgeous Orangery and listen to some actors reading poems associated with our current exhibition.

I also have some free tickets to give away, and I'd really love to have some more people there. We've had a fairly slow uptake on the evening so far, and we could definitely do with a few more people there.

So, I have three free tickets (and may be able to scrounge some more) and there are definitely paid tickets available. Would anyone like to come?

Do! I can probably get you free tickets too. It wouldn't be a 'socialise with Sally' thing if that's not something you guys want to do - just a nice cultural evening.

Sign us up for two tickets then, there are trains from Charing Cross and Waterloo East, so even if there is a tube strike we can get there. we'll probably take off fairly quickly afterwards though (to maintain suitable levels of mystery).

Please please please do come tho. I am getting free tickets so we can get people in to make up numbers and make sure we look good, and I will get frowned at if you guys don't show without any warning.
