I am currently being impressed.

My slightly older Li'l Sis (who is 25 and thus older than many other people I know, but remains my baby sister in my mind) is being published. Her old masters thesis is being published in a proper scientific journal. I am amazingly proud of her. She's possibly one of the cleverest people I know.

Wot I Did On The Weekend

In other news, the weekend was good, although I somehow acquired some kind of disease. I spent most of Sunday trying not to throw up, and wrapped around a cushion whimpering over stabbing stomach pain. However, despite this I managed lunch with souldestruction, ksirafai, pierot and isalani on Saturday and ate much sushi which made me happy. I made it to Reading to see wildrogue and imnotagoth and I even saw castorlion, flamma_lupus and twicedead for an hour and a bit on Sunday before I fled in a disease ridden way. I'm still feeling somewhat crappy today and Jeremiah has collapsed in a feverish heap, this proving that he is overly competitive and has to do everything better, even illness.

Zeitgeist - otherwise known as 'Jez's Independent Vampire Larp'

Oh - and finally - may I remind you all that pierot is starting up an independent Old WoD vampire larp. It will be based in London, is nice traditional Mind's Eye Theatre, and the first character generation system is on Sunday, at the Old King's Head. We start at 3 pm and keep going until about 9 pm, so come along. Gen up a PC - be it Sabbat, Cam-Anarch or independent. There will be one C/A and one Sabbat game per month.

I actually don't think I can think of anything worse that sushi covered in marmite. I actually feel mildly queasy at the thought.

Admittedly, I think most foods would be rather wrong if covered in marmite.

It appears what may have actually killed the other 3 who had also eatten at the restaurant - was the beef that they all ate.

Since I did not have the beef - i was cured by indigestion tablets, though it could have been becuase of the super whopper meal that i was feeling ill.

Marmite on sushi, interesting concept - wonder how good the washabi would go with it :)
