Stolen car
Apr. 30th, 2005 08:21 amMy renault clio was stolen last night.
It just...went. Parked it by Tescos last night before going through to Blackheath with
pierot. Came back at midnight. It was gone.
Reported it to the centre security, and then the police.
There's a folder in the backseat with all my lecture notes. Jez's bag is there too, with a load of his work stuff.
This is unmitigatedly sucky. I'm also just horribly upset. Why the hell would anyone want to steal a battered little clio? It's a crappy little car. But it is mine. I learnt to drive in that car. It used to be my mum's. It got me everywhere. It couldn't possibly mean anything to anyone other than me.
Gah.
Still feeling tearful this morning.

My ex had her Rover 200 stolen by joyriders. It was recovered next morning by the Police not more than a mile away from where it was parked; the only damage done to it was to the door (which had been forced open) - obviouisly the radio was so crappy they didn't bother stealing it. Well, that or the Police Patrol car that pulled out a couple of hundred yards in front of them freaked them out and they legged it...
Here's hoping you get it back OK.
