Is there an obvious way to save documents in Microsoft Office 2007 that I don't know?

Because right now all I can find is the little disk symbol shortcut which doesn't let me give the document a name or say where I'm saving them.

Basically, where the hell has 'save as' gone?

And why have Microsoft released a product which leaves me asking this question? Why isn't it REALLY BLOODY OBVIOUS?

Go to the button in the corner, click on it, go to the save bit there and a side menu will give you a save as option....

Yup, Vista file options are of the Devil.

Yesterday Ginnie and I were scratching our heads like simpletons trying to look for the 'Print' button until eventually I just said 'screw it' and pushed Ctrl+P.

Vista hateses us all.

print is under the window icon i think on the top left...i think all the file options are under there as well for Sally :P

Vista is the festering booger hanging from beelzebub's schnoz.

My company keeps trying to make me upgrade to Office 2007.

I hope there isn't a limit to how long I can play the 'It's not compatible with RoboHelp 5' card...

Actually, Vista isn't that bad once you've spent time with it. Most of the issues come from programs which people haven't made compatible, but it's rare to find a program that you can't work around.

As for Office 2007, not quite sure why they changing things around but I think it's laidout differently between an install on XP and Vista

Office 2007 is a bit different, and it's a pain to have to "Save as..." given the incompatibilities between 2007 and all other versions. That being said, overall after initially hating Vista and Office 07, now I'm used to them I'm actually a bit of a fan.

I agree. Office 2007 sucks in ways that the English language doesn't have words for. I just . . . hate it.

"Alt" then "f" then "a"

2007 is trying to kill my productivity.
