A tale of my weekend yet to be...

First of all, this entry starts with me being all apologetic. pierot and I were planning on coming to Birmingham this weekend. Then ksirafai pointed out that she'd bought us tickets to go and see Cirque du Soleil this Saturday, which has rather stymied that plan. I apologise profusely to the people I had mentioned the Birmingham plan to - I'm a ditz and a useless female.

In other news, following on from Failed Skating Plan last weekend, molez and I are trying again this Sunday! Once again we will attempt to venture forth to Streatham Ice Rink, to reduce our feet to cramped and aching lumps of meat. I'm not sure what kind of time-frame we're looking at yet, but I suspect morning/lunch type time. Once again, folk are welcome to come and join us.

I had it in my head that I was in Birmingham, but hadn't got any further than that, and then Ginnie reminded me that Cirque du Soleil was that day.

Is there another day/weekend I could come up? Like third weekend of Feb, when I could combine shopping/Lost as intended this month?

Well, there's plenty of wedding shops in London - if you shortlist the brands/style names you like (that definitely come in all the relevant people's shoe sizes), could annwfyn not locate suppliers in London & go and try them on down here? It's not quite the same as all going shopping together, but it might be a practical work-around...

erm... in Birmingham? Everyday except the week starting on the 9th Feb and ending on the 16th when I'm in Wales with Heather and Helen and Andy and Tad (and a small collection of other folks like Rikk).
