This is a bit of a Public Service Announcement.

I have a facebook. It is attached to my gmail account - surinen@gmail.com. I don't, however, use it terribly often. Me and facebook don't really get on. I don't dislike it quite as much as *spits* myspace *spits*, but I do find it quite cluttered and I tend to get irritated and slightly overwhelmed by all the zombie/pirate/werewolf/vampire internet games that I keep being asked to add to my facebook.

As such, facebook is not a good way to get in touch with me. I went on to facebook today for the first time in weeks, and discovered a couple of real life social invites on there, and felt kinda bad for having missed them. I know that for lots of folk that's probably just the easiest way to get hold of someone, but I will probably miss any facebook invites or Public Service Announcements that are distributed via facebook.

In other news, I've had a lovely weekend so far. I spent yesterday watching the Lion King with [profile] pierot and [profile] molez and then had a very nice evening at a strange little Moroccan restaurant with Mike Gaiser, Timea, [profile] imnotagoth with his new lassie, [profile] ksirafai, [profile] molez and [profile] pierot. The food was good, and there was a very hot belly dancer performing there as well, which was quite a nice addition to the evening.

I'm about to head up to Hatfield and then tomorrow I'll be going to the British Museum with [profile] vulgarcriminal, which should also be very nice.

Life is relatively good at the moment.

Incidentally, if the Goblintowners are out for dinner of an evening and happen to be in Greenwich I thoroughly recommend Noodle Time. Very cheap (3 people with starters and drinks for less than £20), very good food and enormous portions.

I think you can set facebook up so it emails you notifications of things like invites?
