Birmingham, bridesmaids' dresses, and the mystery of Madoc

I'm beginning to get mildly worried. Madoc has now been gone for 48 hours. I know he's done this before, but I don't like it. I want him home now.

*mopes quietly*

In other news, I went up to Birmingham today to peer at bridesmaid's dresses with windzswept and becky_spence. We saw many pretty things, and got a pretty good idea of the kind of frocks which I think will suit. Twas also lovely to see Steph and Becky.

And now I am home, shattered from driving, and finding my eyes blurring a little. My driving stamina has completely gone! No more is the girl who could drive from Edinburgh to Wakefield and back over the course of an evening.

Oh, damnit! I want my cat back!

What are you driving now? I remember your Mini being crashed, but not what happened after that.

The mini was tragically written off, and as I was a bit short of cash at the time, I decided to economise and downgrade to a skoda fabia, which has, to be fair, been a lovely car that I've had no problems with at all.

Have you thought of putting 'lures' of tasty Madoc-food on the back step (assuming you have such a thing)?

And if you find youself in that bind in future give a hollar - we have plenty of crash space.
