I appear to be in a much more bouncy mood about my birthday than normal. I'm not a birthday person at all, but this year it appears to be coming together. I got glorious birthday cake from
This makes me very happy and bouncy. The world is a good place
Today I have a museology seminar, a science lecture, and an evening lecture on conservation, then I'm going out for pancakes with my family and flatmates. It's not a big birthday celebration, but I think I like my birthday that way.
I really am in a very good mood today.
Update: Squeeee! I got a fluffy pink scarf, nice warm gloves and a red shawl from
*A gorgeous wooden artist's carry box**, the pirateology book, which I'm saving for our second born child (the first born is being cut up into small slices and given out to all the people it's been traded away to over the years) in order to help him/her with his/her pirate training** and the DVDs of the animated Shakespeare series that the BBC did a while ago.
**

***I decided a while ago that one day jez and I would have a child. This child would be named 'Morgan', whatever the gender, and trained from birth to be a pirate, as there just aren't enough pirates in the world.

Date: 2007-02-07 11:26 am (UTC)You know, I realised I was getting old today when one of the women on my course commented today that I really ought to think about having kids soon, coz she waited til she was in her mid thirties and then really regretted it when she had fertility problems.
It was an alarming moment.
