...is the only movie I've ever seen [profile] ksirafai walk out of.

On the other hand, it also had [profile] pierot and [personal profile] bringeroflight giggling all the way through it. Apparently you don't need to have seen the TV show as a child (Tim hasn't), but I think it helps.

Recommended?

Only if your trash tolerance is fairly high and you've got a fondness for improbable car related stunts. A high tolerance for a bimbo in shorts who seems to solve everything by wiggling her arse until all the men in her vicinity cave in and do whatever she wants does help. Personally, I considered giving Daisy Duke a kicking for half the length of the movie, but that might just have been me.

Daisy Duke related muttering. Mild spoilage )

Maelstrom

Just got reminded of this by people posting about their bank holiday weekend plans.

[profile] pierot and I are going to Maelstrom in the second week of September - we got talked into going along with [profile] sherbertsaucers as members of the wasps. It's the first time I've been rubber swording, so it's going to be slightly scary, if fun. I'm trying to work out what kind of stuff I'm going to need to pack/take/have with me, and I really don't have a clue right now.

In other news, I'm also apparently booked up every weekend until the end of September. This weekend I'm in Brighton with [profile] pierot. The first weekend of September is Zeitgeist Cam-Anarch on the Sunday, and the second weekend in September is Maelstrom. The third weekend is Susan's wedding, up in Edinburgh, and then the fourth weekend possibly involves [profile] vilenspotens's Star Wars TT game, and definitely includes Zeitgeist Mummy on the Saturday and Zeitgeist Sabbat on the Sunday.

Is there anything else I'm booked to do which I've forgotten?
