I am now booked into the Manor Hospital in Oxford for a two night stay, starting on March 16th.

I am not allowed to take the contraceptive pill for four weeks beforehand, and will need at least two weeks of convalescence afterwards. I've also never stayed overnight in hospital before. I'm petrified of that. I've been slightly scared of hospitals ever since Mum got sick.

But it's happening.

In the same post I also got a London Congestion Charge Penalty Notice for a charge that I paid. Argh! Am currently trying to get a bank statement which says that I paid them so I can shout. Money really really does hate me.

So. A bit of news for a Tuesday morning.

The next exciting installment in Days Of Our Lives the Oxford Garou/Mage game will be this Sunday, 23rd January, at the Port Mahon pub in Oxford. We have the venue from 6.30 pm. Time in should be around 7.30 pm. Your DST for the evening is Jez P, with Virginia Wynne-Jones as ADST. Jez's e mail addy, for those who don't know, is hollowcolours@hotmail.com.

Directions are below. Feel free to spread the word as my list posting access tends towards the sporadic.

From the A4074:

At the Sainsbury's roundabout, take the second exit onto the Oxford ring road towards Iffley.
Go left at the next roundabout and follow the road until you get to the Magdalen roundabout where Iffley, Cowley and St Clements join.
Take the third exit (second proper one) onto St Clements, turn left and park in the Angel and Greyhound car park. Leave the car park, turn left, and walk to the Port Mahon.

From the A34:
Come off at the Oxford junction, take the third exit (over the A34), and go around the ring road until you pick up the directions as above.
