Drive by update....

• Our broadband is now not working, as BT have messed up our phone line again. This also means that jez and I are not contactable on our normal landline. We still have mobiles, but unless you can call us on them, we're mostly incommunicado til Tuesday.



• Wicked was a wonderful musical. I'm still bouncing about it, and view Glinda as my new role model. If you are in London and get the chance, go and see it, for the amazing set design and lighting if nothing else!



• The Natural History Museum is also cool. There's a proper update on my visit to the Natural History Museum up on my surinen LJ, which contains all things loosely university related. wraithwitch, anysbryd, ksirafai, molez and adze were all very amenable company.



• I am now in Feltham, where I intend to stay until tomorrow. There is a bed, there are thunderstorm noises courtesy of one of Andy's CD and I am getting very confused by this. There shouldn't be thunder without real rain outside!



• University is going very well. I've been updating my surinen LJ, which basically has all things university related, from academic mutterings to interesting anecdotes about alchemists, but in brief summary - a PGDip in Conservation seems to make me happy, and a 15 minute commute by car from Rotherhithe to Peckham definitely makes me happy.



• Our move is now complete, our living room is now plastered and should be paintable by next weekend, and the slow move towards having a fully livable house is nearly complete. This is leaving us a little financially strained, but hopefully this will all be over soon. At least we'll stabilise somewhat when jez starts his new job at the beginning of November.

Our NTL connection died over the w/e too - apparently there was a fault affecting the SE...don't know whether it affected multiple providers.
