Worry...

Madoc is poorly. He has a fever, and is avoiding food and drink and just curling up on the bed in the spare room.

I took him to the vets earlier, who put him on anti-biotics, and wants me to bring him back tomorrow. He says that he's 98% sure that Madoc will be fine, and just has a bit of flu (as is normal for cats of his age), but I am still fretting a bit.

My poor kitten.

Edit: After being very poorly and pathetic all evening, Madoc now seems to have perked up, and has eaten and is wandering around. I think he'll be fine, but he did rather scare me earlier. He's not quite his normal self, but he's definitely a bit on the mend.

Poor kitty. I'm sure he'll pull through ok. Not much can really hurt a kitty his age so long as he's had all of his vaccinations.

Have fun giving him his meds... I know the joys of making kitties take pills.

I'm glad he's feeling better.

We just went through the same thing with Del; she was miserable. She turned out to have worms, a bowel infection and an inflamation of the nether regions.
