Back home...
May. 3rd, 2006 12:29 pmThe journey was less painful than it could have been and I discovered how much valium it takes to get me to fall unconscious on a plane. I also got to watch 'Memoirs of a Geisha' and discovered that it got worse second time round!
I'm now at home, with the cats, about to fall unconscious.
My holiday was a mixed bag. My brain was a broken place for parts of it, and I stomped and grumped my way through several bits of Australia. My friends, on the other hand, were lovely, and I'm still bouncy at having climbed in a rainforest. I have seen kangaroos up close, and splashed about in the ocean, knowing that in front of me the sea stretched on to Antartica. All this makes me happy.
But now I am home, I am tired, and I think I shall go and sleep...

Date: 2006-05-03 12:07 pm (UTC)You'd think the assassins would have noted she was on a different continent. There may have been more, but I think the EvilGoblinCats ate them. At least, one of them coughed up a shuriken in a hairball yesterday...

2) other ninjas - maybe attack
3) Pirates - kill, kill, kill

Date: 2006-05-03 07:28 pm (UTC)Is very very nice to be home. Going away is all well and good, but it's good to be back in a place where people have phone numbers, there are cats who will climb on me and I've got a proper double bed!

Date: 2006-05-04 01:52 am (UTC)(standing and floureshes) an absolute pleasure to meet you Sally... (wicked grin)
I have to say, so rarely do I have the pleasure of meeting a crew of people who are so exquisitely different, friendly and accepting. Each of you are pure gold. I was astounded at how quickly you all allowed me to be a part of the capering madness. and even stranger I feel as though I know you all so much better than I do... such a rare thing...
smiles.
thankyou.
