Yes. In startling news I'm actually working this week. I'll be at Nigel Kidson & Co, solicitors, working as a secretary and audio typist.

Wish me luck. Hopefully I won't mess it up too badly.

No...but one of the partners insists on describing the punctuation he wants in his letters by his own random names. Like, a colon is 'two dots' which is really odd when you encounter it on a cassette tape while doing audio typing.

He also has the annoying habit of not being able to just clarify when I ask for clarification on what he is saying, but instead explaining to me how to do audio typing in its entirety. All I wanted was for him to listen to one sentence and tell me what he meant. I didn't need him to sit over my shoulder explaining how he thinks I should type directly into the letter template instead of taking the bulk of the text down in rough first for ten minutes.

And then go through the written notes I had already which had everyone's name and address and re-shuffle them into an order he thinks will make it easier for me, but just leaves me entirely lost.

Argh! I'm taking a five minute break just to sort my brain out!
