As directed by [profile] davedevil and a variety of others, I offer up unto you three events, three births and three deaths from February 7th, which is the day I was born.

    Three Events

457 - Leo I becomes emperor of the Byzantine Empire.

1301 - Edward of Caernarvon (later King Edward II of England) becomes the first English Prince of Wales.

1900 - The British Labour Party is formed.

    Three Births

1102 - Empress Matilda, Princess of England and wife of Henry V of the Holy Roman Empire (d. 1169)

    1812 - Charles Dickens, English novelist (d. 1870)

    1867 - Laura Ingalls Wilder, American author (d. 1957)

    Three Deaths

    1823 - Ann Radcliffe, English novelist (b. 1764)

    1993 - Lillian Gish, American actress (b. 1893)

2001 - Anne Morrow Lindbergh, American author and aviator (b. 1906)

In other news, last night I spent watching trashy DVDs with [profile] pierot and wallowing in physical contact, which I don't think I've done for a while. It was surprisingly medicincal. Today I have already had a morning panic of realising I'd offended someone (I may possibly be retiring from all forms of human society, starting as of this evening), apologised, worried and am now pottering, bathing, organising, and wasting time. I start work on Monday tho. Damn Reed have said they haven't done any work for this client for a while, so can I try and make a good impression. I'm beginning to get nervous. I don't feel like a very impressive secretary right now!

Ach. All shall be fine. I shall live and I shall be well.

And does anyone actually want to know why I picked the collection of births, deaths and events I did? I failed to put an explanation as I suspected most people would skim over it, but if you feel there is psychological insight to be found, I shall try and provide some...

Can I be the first to point out that you are mutating memes (which is a good thing). I'm not quite sure why everybody else is doing 3/2/2 rahter than 3/3/3 but I suspect its because whoever started it had very few interesting births and deaths on their birthday. :) Congratulations on mutating. :)
