I had a very sweet telling off when I left work. Peter sat me down and asked me to please put things back where I had found them, and not to let things migrate to my desk. Apparently I left the tooth picks we use for spreading glue on to fan sticks up in my office before I went away and they couldn't find them for the fan making workshop on Saturday. I felt horrifically guilty, and also kinda wish that hadn't happened on my first day back after my holiday, and one day before our next general staff meeting.
Good Thing
I got a very shiny charm bracelet frombecky_spence that she made herself, and this makes me feel loved. pierot claims that when Becky asked 'what does Sally like?' he told her to 'think demented magpie' and she carried out his instructions well. I like it. It is bright and jangles and is sitting on my wrist now and that cheers me up.
Shiny Thing
I found this site. This might not mean much to many of you, but on the A4, heading out towards the M4, before the turn off to Kew, I think, there is this amazing row of houses, all with these huge big windows. And in one of them at the moment there is a sign, advertising this website. And I went there and oooooh...
...I think that's my dream house. Absolutely. Totally and utterly.
