Bouncy-bouncy-bouncy
Dec. 26th, 2008 10:43 amI had a wonderful Christmas.
There was midnight mass, lit by candles, and then home to mulled cider until 2 am.
Then in the morning there were stockings, then pottering and watching 'The Snow Queen' until midday, when there was breakfast, and then afterwards there was a giant orgy of presents, in which Jeremiah proved once again that he is a god of finding amazing gifts. Actually, Ginnie and Raven are pretty damn incredible as well.
Then there was 'Ballet Shoes' on DVD, which made me most happy, and more pottering, until we acquired a Sarah in the evening, at which point there was much scurrying, and chopping, and cooking until lo! A goose, some veg and a bucketful of roast potatoes. It was gorgeous, and the Christmas pudding that also followed (made by my sister) was totally fantastic.
And finally there was 'The Wizard of Oz' and 'Mamma Mia', with cocktails that soothed me into a happy warm place of wiffle.
Today is my family Christmas, and so I'm about to set off to the wilds of Richmond to see a collection of siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and my Dad (of which I only have one).
So, onward!
