On the topic of BPAL
Nov. 11th, 2008 11:40 amSTOP ME BEFORE I BUY AGAIN*
I've just added up the number of BPAL bottles I've bought over the last month.
It's not pretty.
You see, first of all, there was Ivanushka on e bay. It was only £5, you see, and it had such a pretty story to it (and a surprisingly nice smell on the dry down as well - this is the first scent I've had which smells awful for 15 minutes and then gets really nice). Then, a few weeks later, I found myself wandering around ebay again, and lo! There was Aquarius. And I had to buy that, because it is my star sign, and it was clearly destiny.
Then this morning I got a message through bpal.org from someone I messages ages ago, about a bottle of Jolasveinar that they had for sale as I had an imp last year and really like it, and they said it was still available and would I like it, and I paid for the bottle absent mindedly before going back to the main order I'm making...
...and I've somehow bought 5 damn bottles in a month, and it's the lead up to Christmas and I'm NOT MEANT TO BE SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY ON MYSELF.
So, stop me before I buy again!
And no one let me near the Wind in the Willows. There are so many little bottles there that I want, and I must control myself, damnit!
*This is a bit like 'stop me before I kill again', only in this case the main victim is my bank balance.
