BPAL Mary Read

lanfykins gave this to me as an act of malice.
On the wrist: Oh that's a lot mellower. It's quite sweet, and a little incense-y. I can pick up the patchouli, and I think it would be quite sickly if it didn't have the ocean mist to lighten it a little bit. Jeremiah swears he can smell lavender, and I can see what he means. There is something quite floral to it.
After one hour: It definitely smells of lavender, despite allegedly not having any in. I find it very very comforting, and it dries down to a very light scent, that lingers gently on the skin. It smells a little of old goth shop, and a little of my bedroom at home, with my lavender cushions. I'm not 100% convinced by it as a pirate scent, I fear.
Final verdict: I like this. I don't think it's a pirate scent. Rather, it's a scent that makes me think of picnics by the sea, possibly whilst wearing white linen and a big straw hat. It's light, and summery, and I don't think would ever work in the winter, but right now I love it. 8/10.
On that note, is anyone doing a group order at any point in the near future? I would quite like a bottle of Mary Read, and I'm being tempted by a couple of the Stardust scents, although I can't quite decide between East, the Stormhold, and Yvaine. One of the three, but god knows which one. I'd like an imp of Shrodinger's Cat too, and I'm considering a bottle of Chimera.

This is why I stopped spending time on the BPAL site. I've been on detox for months, and then today I looked at it and just went mad.
So. Is there a group order happening any time soon? And if so, can anyone advise me on what they think I should buy?
