As some folks may already know it is Jeremiah's thirtieth birthday this Sunday. To celebrate we are currently planning on going for dim sum in Chinatown, meeting there at about 1pm.

It's an open invite - the more the merrier - but RSVP would be nice so I know if I need to book a table.

Bring cards, presents, comiserations...

It'll be lovely to see folks.

Y'know, I'm not sure when, but sometime ago I started hearing Jez's LJ name in my head no longer as Pierot, tragi-comic Italian clown, but rather as Pie Rot, an unfortnately decaying pastry product. I'm trying to realign my brain but it just isn't working very well. :p

Funnily enough I used to have Harlequin as my online name, before I found it taken on most servers I got to.

Dim Sum is the type of random chinese food we'll be getting and Chinatown is near Soho. You could always drive up to Evil Squared and meet us there first on Sunday morning before progressing?

It's not the food, just the weird way they serve it. Suspect I'll end up with an odd soup and weird things that don't gel together properly.

It is a lot of fun if you just assume you're going to be getting odd bits and pieces and kinda view it all as a bit of a journey into the unknown. That's why I rather like it.

I figure you'll be around for birthday drinks at some point that weekend tho *looks hopeful*

If you aim to arrive at Evil Squared (or even the Cantina) before noon I think that would be good. Maybe aim for 11.30 ish? That gives us time to head over to Chinatown for 1 pm.

Ginnie and I are going swimming at vile ungodly o'clock on Sunday morning, and so should be awake at least.
