General life update

I had a lovely lunch out in Essex yesterday withthelorax42 and pierot.
I have begun to send my CV out to temp agencies, although it's been so long since I've done that that I feel like I'm forgetting how to. I am in a mild panic about being unemployed, although I know I'll get through. I do know that the job market is sucky, but thinking about that rather makes it worse, because there's nothing I can do to affect that. So, right now, I think I'd rather be (possibly deludedly) optimistic and assume it'll pick up and something will come together.
I have also done a lot of laundry. This also makes me feel good. And I did a food shop yesterday and am now stocked up with cheap food for whilst I'm at home.
And hopefully that won't be for too long.
