So, I had an outreach session today.

I trekked all the way out to Cannibal Sector Zone Six to give a workshop on forensic archaeology to a bunch of home schooled kids.

I not only got a fantastic turn out (30 people there, which is really good for the home schooling network), I also got a bunch of totally engaged and enthusiastic kids, and then at the end they gave me a box of chocolates to thank me for coming out to see them.

I am full of happy now!

Teaching homeschoolers can be like being a zookeeper, but it can also be really rewarding, with really engaged, dedicated kids.

Well done!

I am surpised at the turn out, I have had some dealings with Home Schooling so hats off to you!

Last couple days we have packed up Science now - we have nothing left but still 1 week of lessons! This term has been a tough one what with moving to the new building for september!

Chocolates from Zone 6? I'd be wary of what's in the soft centres if I were you.
