This is going to be a lecture, given by me! It will be a good lecture, and if you come, then I'll like you more as a person. If you come to the 9 pm lecture, I'll like you even more and we can go to the pub afterwards.

I'm going to be talking about bones, graverobbers, crime and punishment in Georgian London and waving a bone saw and femur about.

Potentially so, though I'd love you more if you could stretch to Regency as well ;)

(Am having a bit of a snit at how many 'Regency' books actually spend most of their time talking about Georgian stuff instead. I know it's a comparatively narrow period, and backdrop is important, but...)

It does go forward into Regency and a little bit of Victorian history - basically, it isn't until the 19th century that grave robbing falls out of fashion, and it's grave robbers and anatomy schools that I'll be talking about.
