Happy Halloween
Nov. 1st, 2009 12:05 amDue to Goblintown being House of Plague* I've not had the most exciting Halloween, but for all that I am content.
adze came down to visit, and we all trekked out to the very nice Mexican place in Greenwich, where Neill and Jeremiah experimented with tequila beer (with great joy), and Ginnie and I settled for virgin daquiris. Our waitor had full zombie make up on. At least, I hope it was zombie make up. Maybe Desperado's now is staffed by the walking dead. It wouldn't surprise me.
We wandered around Greenwich for a bit and encountered a pack of girls dressed up in worryingly small pink tutus. Neill did comment that they were the best Halloween costumes he'd seen so far. Or maybe just the scariest. I'm not sure.
We had vaguely talked about the cinema, but Ginnie was fading, my ears were ringing and so we crawled back to Goblintown instead, where Jeremiah, Neill and myself played computer games for a bit, until Neill took off.
And now it's midnight, which means it's the Day of the Dead. There's loads of very shiny things going on at the British Museum, which I wish I could get to, but am currently a bit too broken to risk the tube.
I shall, instead, just share this with you, and wish you all a lovely Dia de los Muertos, as well as a happy Halloween.

*I have labyrinthitis, and the virus which seems to have triggered that has apparently spread to
pierot and
ksirafai.
