When Warcraft and Twilight collide

So, whilst being at home sick, I've been playing a chunk of World of Warcraft.* And so this morning I found myself running happily across Alterac Valley, on a murderous rampage, when ahead of me I saw a Night Elf. His name was 'EdwardCullen'. His Guild name, which was just beneath that, was 'Gives Love A Bad Name'.

Maybe I'm a basic creature, but that made me laugh out loud.



*And this has been going very well lately. I've hit level 60, I've got my first flying mount, I got a broomstick and a shiny title from the Hallow's End quests and I discovered that I actually quite like the PvP battlegrounds which was a mild surprise to me, but a good one.

I would have laughed too. Congratulations on your return to WoW. Are you still playing the Tauren you mentioned long ago, or has that poor unfortunate bovine been cast into the outer darkness?

I fear my Tauren is not really very active at the moment. I'm currently playing a small gnomish rogue, with a spec which basically says 'I stab stuff'.

I've got some alts, but have decided to leave them be until I feel like I've caught up with everyone else I know! I think I'm one of about 3 people in my guild without a level 80, so I still have a long way to go.

You'll find the run from 60 up to 80 a lot faster than 1 to 60, once you hit the Outlands things progress a lot more quickly. A good quick run is all of Hellfire Plateau (till 63ish) -> Short stop in Zangermarsh (63-64) -> Naggrand (64->68) and then onto Northrend. If you run out of quests before 68, Netherstorm is the best place to hit next.

Last time I ran through on my DK, took about 20-30 hours of play time.
