One small white cat just ran in to the living room.

He is filthy dirty, has wolfed his food as if he was starving, has run about the house checking it's still there, and has loudly demanded attention from everyone he can get hold of.

No obvious signs of being hurt, but he does not look like a cat who has had the best of times. [profile] pierot thinks he looks like he had to dig his way out of somewhere. He is, however, now home, fed and isn't going anywhere.

Thank you for everyone I've stressed at over the last few days. God! I just feel so much better.

Glad he's back :-)

My housemate's cat has developed a habit of running away when she knows we want her in at the point we're about to go to work, leading to some anxious times waiting to see if she's coming back . . .

I'm glad it worked out. My cats are both indoor and I don't know what I would do if they got out.

Sounds like he got stuck in a shed or something. Anyway, I'm glad he's back.

The shed sounds pretty plausible. Either way, I'm really glad he's back as well. I really dislike it when either of them goes missing.

I feel so much better, too. Give him a cuddle on my behalf.

Good to hear the cat's back. Some people say that they find it relaxing to keep a cat - I'm not entirely sure whether that's possible with yours', the way they keep doing this sort of thing now and again.

It's been two years since the last escapade, so at least I had a bit of a break!

I'm actually getting very slightly more relaxed every time this happens. Basically, empirical evidence seems to suggest that outdoor/indoor cats do tend to go off on adventures every now and then, but so far they have always come back.

Myrddin is also looking much less interested in the outdoors now. He's stayed inside and is mostly very keen on finding a nice warm space on a bed.

If your conserned about the cat having been in a situation where he had to dig his way out. You may want to get him the once over by the vet, just to be sure.
Glad you found him, hugs pixie.

Silly goblin-cat :) Sounds like he managed to get himself trapped somewhere. I'm glad he's back :)
