Life, in summary
Jun. 15th, 2005 09:24 am- I have 13 days to go until I leave for Australia, which will be a spectacularly good thing and will involve me going to a whole new continent, and also going travelling with my boyfriend for the first time ever. The 'travelling with the boyfriend' is a surprisingly big deal for me - as is meeting Jeremiah's extended family. Gods, I want this holiday to go well!
- I have 11 days to go until Zeitgeist Sabbat, which is a Good Thing and will enable me to play my Malkavian Anti, which is a new and shiney thing for me. I've not played a Malk in years - not since the old days of Recrudescence up in Edinburgh, where I played a Malkavian called Saffron and wound up rather worried that I was going mad in the process. I'm a heck of a lot more stable these days, and I like the idea I have for my Malk Anti, but we shall have to see how it goes.
This is also me giving Sabbat another go. In the past I've had a lot of bad experiences with it. I don't enjoy games which seem to be based on trying to play the ickiest and squikkiest thing out there. I've got a pack this time, players around me I like, and an ST I've got a high opinion of. I want to see how it goes! - I have 10 days to go until 'The Far Pavillions' - a musical set in India just after the mutiny, based on a book by MM Kaye. I originally suggested going to see that as a social outing.
pierot tried to gouge out his eyes, and
ksirafai took the more direct route of trying to gouge out my eyes, which I took as a sign that they weren't interested, and so I have now suckered my sisters into going to see it with me.
I like India. I like Indian history, I like Indian clothes, and fabrics and I loved the book this musical came from. I have hopes. - I have 6 days to go until I can legitimately go and see 'Batman Begins'. I know it's out on Thursday, but I've arranged to do too many other things and have an exam to revise for, so I think I'm going to promise myself this film as a celebration after I finish my exam. Anyone want to go see it on Monday or Tuesday of next week?
- I have 5 days to go until my exam. It's on Monday, I'm revising, and I'm getting somewhere. I just need lists at the moment. Lists of ivory diptychs, lists of examples of basillicas, lists of secular illustrated manuscripts. I need examples. I need case studies. I can memorise all this! I can! I can!
- I have 3 days to go until 'The Producers' which is the theatrical social for Saturday. I am rather worried that I may be a bit stressed due to it being the weekend before my exam. Would it look odd to take a large book on art and architecture to the theatre with me? I believe
souldestruction is also having a birthday gathering of some kind afterwards. Anyone know what is going on? - I have 1 day to go until both my new shelves for the Cantina arrive (bedroom storage. Right now there is too much junk up in that room!) and my nice new book on 'Byzantine Art and Architecture'. Both are due to arrive tomorrow. I shall be waiting in London on that day.
And that's my life right now. Is there anything else happening that I've forgotten about?
eBay
Date: 2005-06-15 08:46 am (UTC)I'm semi-tempted to be evil and put up the ebay stuff so it ends right before your trip... But I don't think there's really been a good time, what with end of finals and other stress.
Mind you, I always figured Ginnie would be the responsible one and do all the actual work anyway.
