Superman - not as nice as you might think...

I just found this site.

It has some great classic superman comic covers. Featuring Superman the Evil! Superman the Insensitive! Superman the Semi-Abusive Boyfriend!

The site tells me they are all real, although all taken dramatically out of context, which is why the site tries to avoid recounting the story in the comic. If you do that, some of them make sense.

They are, however, wondrously funny. Especially the one where Superman is trying to get Lois Lane executed for the murder of Lana Lang, whilst Batman looks despairing in a corner.

EDIT - bah. I was the last one to find this site. This is old old old news. However, I shall leave this entry here, in case there are others in this world who are also slow and lack internet powerzzzz.
