AIM

I have recently become aware that Googletalk now comes with added AIM.

Therefore today, after much faffing, I actually signed into AIM, for the first time in (I think) four and a half years.

It was very strange.

I think the weirdest thing was realizing how many of my AIM contacts were just complete strangers to me now. There were usernames I don't recognize any more. There were others I recognized really well, and felt incredibly ashamed at the fact that I've really not spoken to them since the last time I signed in to that damn chat client.

It's a very odd feeling.

In other news, the post brought me many shinies today. I now have coloured contact lenses, JoJoelle perfume (which I encourage all the BPAL addicts on my flist to try - they are lovely and come in a really nice little spray bottle), and a new velvet jacket courtesy of ebay.

This has made me happy. I allegedly now smell of Burlesque dancer. I never knew they smelt like grapefruit...

I'm contemplating getting some coloured lenses for when my eyes are healed. After the tests, my pupils are really dilated, and I think I look quite interesting with dark eyes. I suspect this is because it's so different.

I'll have to find out if I can wear them, and then play around with colours.

I've now got some green and some brown.

The green are an experiment and I'm not quite sure about them, but the brown are fab and always make me look slightly exotic which I like.

Well, you should be able to go to gmail in your web browser and look around for AIM in the settings I think.

I tried Ruby Savage, Sydney Deville, and Dixie Leigh from here (http://www.moxiebeauty.co.uk/category_34/Moxie-Burlesque-Fragrances.htm) and Jadis and Drama Queen from here (http://www.moxiebeauty.co.uk/category_35/JoJoelle.htm).

Drama Queen I thought I'd like, but turned out to be a bit too sweet. Sydney Deville and Dixie Leigh were a bit too heavy, but Ruby Savage and Jadis were gorgeous, so I got full bottles.
