Argh! Spice Island, in Rotherhithe, which is the pub I was planning to go to this evening is closed. Why? Why? Oh cruel world! Can anyone else think of a nice pub in the Greenwich/Deptford/Rotherhithe area? I would like to avoid going into central London too early in the evening and would really like somewhere where people can actually sit down and talk.
