Fundraising for Marie Curie
May. 21st, 2007 02:09 pmI have discovered today that my li'l sis is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care, who were absolutely brilliant when our Mum was ill, and enabled her to stay at home until she died.
Marie Curie are fabulous wonderful people, and so I would be very very appreciative if any of you folk who may be thinking about donating to charity would have a poke at Kate's website.
She is being sponsored by John Lewis (who she works for) to go on this climb - they are paying half her costs, and she's paying the other half herself, so every single penny that is raised through other folk will go to Marie Curie.
If you guys give her money, she may also stop thinking of all Sally's friends as dodgy goths and weird role players. Well, she may still think of most of you that way (except Leah) but I bet she'll think of you as nice dodgy goths and weird role players.
I know I'll like you more if you give Kate cash...

Something that someone said earlier was that Hollywood would naturally use skinny actresses if that is what the public found attractive, and it got me wondering. Now, I tend to stamp my feet and yell "skinny isn't that cute", probably horribly offending thin people everywhere, but maybe I'm wrong.
I am therefore making this post - this epic, photo heavy orgy of bikini shots with a poll at the bottom.
I think it's mostly work safe - no p*rn here - but is very image-filled.
