annwfyn: (minions extraordinaire)
I've just called the Old Vic to check if they have tickets available for the evening performance of the 18th December. They had 12 tickets left. I've nabbed the lot. Of those, eleven are now spoken for, which means I've got ONE ticket left. ONE ticket.

Who shall the lucky final theatre goer be?

I am debating an exciting competition of some kind of determine this.

For the record, the people who have given me a firm 'yes' to Aladdin ticketsare:

[personal profile] annwfyn (me. I got first dibs by virtue of booking)
[profile] pierot (jez, who didn't so much say 'yes please' as 'I've got to, haven't I? You won't let me get away from this one. Argh! Damnit! That's hurting. Yes. Yes. Anything. Just stop the pain)
[profile] ksirafai (Ginnie, who said something along the lines of 'Iain McKellen in a dress? How could anyone say no')
[personal profile] twicedead (Ben P, who said something like 'yes..give me your LJ login and password and I'll sort it all out for you.' followed up by 'trusssst me'. It was very worrying. Note to self - must change LJ password)
Mrs [personal profile] twicedead (Jo P who Ben assures me will come)
[profile] commlal (Faith, who assures me she doesn't smell)
[personal profile] twisted_times (Mr Faith, who Faith tells me also doesn't smell)
[profile] castorlion (MattMatt, who appears to be going as Ginnie's date, from the look of the numbers)
[profile] wildrogue + 2 (Elle and minions. As long as I am given money I care not who I take to the theatre)

And that's it. I'm feeling very very glad that I phoned up the theatre today and mildly scared that the place is pretty much sold out three and a half weeks in advance. It appears that Ginnie isn't the only one who finds Iain McKellen in drag pretty much irrestible.

Somehow, that scares me...

Update: [profile] molez has snagged the last ticket.
