BPAL Aquarius
Nov. 19th, 2008 09:31 amI appear to have become strangely fixated on BPAL again. It seems to go in phases for me. There are times I'm entirely uninterested and times when suddenly I require smells - many more smells.
Another of the new smells I ordered recently arrived yesterday - Aquarius 2007. According to the lab it should smell of 'Fixed air: the essence of idealism. Wisteria, myrrh, anise, galbanum, bryony, and pomegranate.' I'm not sure I got 'essence of idealism', but I did get a really nice scent - it was sort of floral, but a warmer, more fruity floral than I'm used to. It was lighter and more drifty than my normal collection of winter scents (and a long way from Bonfire Night, which I've been wearing a lot), but still warmer and brighter (does that make sense?) than your average floral bouquet. Maybe it's the pomegranate?
I wore it all of last night, and am wearing it again today, which is a good sign.
I'm really quite glad that BPAL got it quite so right with the scent for my own star sign.
In other (eviller) news, I'm being darkly amused at the fact that someone on
perfumedwaters has been encouraged to do a small personal order and add people from the community on, due to missing the main group order, especially after
la_colere was quite so arsey a while back about Steph adding community members on to her personal order. Inconsistent, non?
