Eyes are fading...

~sighs~

Driving home last night I realized that in my current glasses, I can't actually read the license plate of the car in front of me.

This is not good. I need an eye test and I need new glasses. And god, this is going to be expensive...

I absolutely have not told you this (we're not officially supposed to show any bias): Specsavers. Best value for money. Also, £5 eye tests. Just google specsavers voucher and you'll find one somewhere.

It's also worth looking for frames online or somewhere like TKMaxx then taking them into store to be glazed. You can save a fortune.

Oooh...that is helpful and I'm getting loads of good advice over on G+ as well. I'm feeling far less worried about this now.

Also - if this can wait until the FGoTM I can get you a free eyetest plus £30 off at Vision Express. Just don't tell anyone ;-)

I went to vision express and because I like simple styles was able to get a pair of frames and lenses together for £29. They're just plain black but suit me better than a lot of the more expensive styles.

It doesn't have to be expensive.
