Game of Thones

For boys or for girls?

The second article is, as a note, a 'must read', if only for the line 'I will grant you that scenes of explicit sex, especially the rape and brother-sister incest we see in Game, have traditionally appealed only to female audiences... Men generally prefer softer images of sexuality - erotica, if you will.'

In other news, I think I've fallen a bit in love with Sansa Stark, mostly for her spectacular non-Sue-ish-ness. She's so whingy, and pathetic and very very teenage. Bless her and all her crapness.

That second article is hilarious reading and also yes Sansa is reassuringly teenage.

Ummm, I wonder if someone swapped "men" and "women" in the above paragraph before publishing!

If not, please forgive me if I start giggling next time we meet at the thought of you spending your evening pouring over incest-rape erotica :P

io9's posting was firmly tongue in cheek. Though who's cheek I'm not sure.

I love them all, though Sansa seems to be the only one who thinks she's in a traditional fantasy novel. The guy who plays Joffrey is awesomely deranged.
